Lead through Design Influence

This session is designed to provide design influencers a pathway forthward as they enter into industry. The focus will include a range of activities to build creative confidence and build strategies for infiltrating design in your first design role. Attendees will form into squads to co-create an action plan to incorporate back into your team and organizations design workflow, connect with a peer-to-peer community to explore ideas, learn from one another and share inspiring stories on how others are building influence in their organizations.

Tyler is a product designer with a mission to create delightful digital experiences that deeply impact people’s lives. With an academic background in urban design, ecological systems design, and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, he approaches design problems with a human-centered methodology, focusing on building empathy throughout the design process.
He has worked with organizations spanning solar technology, electric bicycles, organization design, farm-to-fork food systems and climate impact analysis for local governments. Tyler is a current UXDI Immersive instructor at General Assembly in New York City.
