The Forthward Bootcamp is structured around a multi-weekend series of intensive sessions, including the practice of industry readiness simulations, advanced design modules, and interpersonal activities to elevate your ability to lead through influence. The program is designed to ready the next generation of design influencers to lead powerfully as they enter their careers through hands-on experiential learning environments.

Saturday June 1st, 10am – 4pm
The first immersive session begins with a dialogue on the future of design-led influence. This will parlay into attendees writing a design manifesto (a declaration that considers their full trajectory as designers moving into industy).

Saturday June 15th, 10am – 4pm
The second immersive session expands into a day filled with next-level design topics, challenges and dialogue for increasing design-led influence. The result will deepen the experiential knowledge and practice of harboring a design influence identity.

Saturday June 22nd, 10am – 4pm
The third immersive session will continue to advance in topic scope and depth. The resulting output of the session and program will be to create a design-led influence plan as you launch into your career.

Tyler is a product designer with a mission to create delightful digital experiences that deeply impact people’s lives. With an academic background in urban design, ecological systems design, and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, he approaches design problems with a human-centered methodology, focusing on building empathy throughout the design process.
He has worked with organizations spanning solar technology, electric bicycles, organization design, farm-to-fork food systems and climate impact analysis for local governments. Tyler is a current UXDI Immersive instructor at General Assembly in New York City.
