The Design Challenge Lab begins with a dialogue about the future of design challenges. How might we craft compelling critiques, share our thoughts throughs on best practices in design, and build our creative confidence as designers? Lab attendees will examine ways to integrate these approaches into their upcoming design challenges.

Structure
This is an instructor-led lab held live over a remote Zoom call. (You will receive a Zoom link with your enrollment email). Each lab is intended to foster a hands-on learning environment to engage in dialogue, practice the lab material, and implement the learning into your design workflow.

Lab Lead
Tyler Hartrich
Tyler is a product designer with a mission to create delightful digital experiences that deeply impact people’s lives. With an academic background in urban design, ecological systems design, and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, he approaches design problems with a human-centered methodology, focusing on building empathy throughout the design process.
He has worked with organizations spanning solar technology, electric bicycles, organization design, farm-to-fork food systems and climate impact analysis for local governments. Tyler is a current UXDI Immersive instructor at General Assembly in New York City.
