Overview
The Industry Readiness Program is focused on elevating your designer readiness as you enter into industry! Sessions comprise of crafting next-level design portfolios, defending design with stakeholders, running a design challenge, technical and behavioral interviews and culminates with modeling out a career growth framework for design!

Who’s this program for?
The audience for this program is current or recent graduates from a digital design program (UX/Product Design). Session activities will be ran as simulations of the interview process, so it’s imperative that attendees are prepared!
Structure
This is an instructor-led program held live over a remote Zoom call. (You will receive a Zoom link with your enrollment email). Each session is intended to foster a hands-on learning environment to engage in dialogue, practice the session material, and implement the learning into your design workflow.

Session Lead
Tyler Hartrich
Tyler is a product designer with a mission to create delightful digital experiences that deeply impact people’s lives. With an academic background in urban design, ecological systems design, and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, he approaches design problems with a human-centered methodology, focusing on building empathy throughout the design process.
He has worked with organizations spanning solar technology, electric bicycles, organization design, farm-to-fork food systems and climate impact analysis for local governments. Tyler is a current UXDI Immersive instructor at General Assembly in New York City.
